What do they eat?

Eskimos live in Arctic ares of the world so they do not have any ways to cook there food so they usually eat there food raw although some make fires and cook it. Infect the word Eskimo means"the eater of raw meat". Am Eskimos diet would consist of seals (the single most important part of their diet), salmon, cod, whales, and other sealife. On land were caribou and geese in the summer. (They have to go inland to find caribou.) During the winter they hunt polar bears, foxes, and hares. Their favorite foods are seal and caribou meat, walrus liver, and the skin of whales. However this diet is not healthy as they only eat meat which means they are very low on carbohydrates however they are high on protein and also on Fat. Eskimos hunt their food. They hunt by using kayaks and have animal skin on the outside this allows them to get up very close without being heard by there prey. They get the seals because they have to brake a hole in the ice Because they have to come up and breath air. So Eskimos just have to be patient and as soon as they come up they strike and kill they seal. When they catch the seal none of him is waited they use everything such as the skin for clothing, intestine for waterproof clothing when they go hunting and eat almost everything else.
